How to adjust rear coilover strut?

So I picked up some F&F coilovers and I'm not sure what height to set the rear strut at. I know you're supposed to adjust the height by moving the collars on the spring but what height am I supposed to set the strut at? I measured the difference from the stock spring to the coilover spring, which is 2 inches(I want to lower the car 2 inches), so what height do I set the strut at? Do I just set the strut 2 inches shorter than stock?

Yeah, I know, I just placed it on top, I just don't get what height to set it at(obviously high/low enough to bolt it down)
F&F says, adjust rear shock length according to control "droop" and preload. Not adjusting the rear shock in relation to the spring height can result in the high/low kit(assembly of spring height) coming loose when a wheel is off the ground.
So, I guess I set the strut long enough so that the spring in the bucket won't fall out or has a snug fit. So do I set it at a specific length in relation to the spring height? Would adjusting the f&f strut to match oem strut length be ok?
