Default Problem Adjusting The Adjustable Damper *****

Installed Megan Racing Coilovers (Track) initially upon installed I was able to turn adjustable ***** while the car was on the jackstand but when driven for 6 miles to go home the next following day when I tried to adjust it, it wouldn't turn at all. The rears are fine just the fronts won't turn. I called megan to help me troubleshoot and after a few tries, from swapping adjustable ***** etc still cant turn the *****. So tech said it looks like I have defective shocks. They will be sending me 2 new front shocks. Has this happen to anyone who has coilovers? What actions where taken to resolve the issue...

Some of us are "brand name ******" for a reason. Assuming your issue gets fixed and the units never break again, the brand name units are STILL better in every aspect but price. For the money of an entry level coilover, most people are better off just getting a set of springs and shocks and calling it a day on suspension. As a former Megan customer, I can't say anything nice about their products. I would have spent less money overall if I had never bought anything from them.

there was a reason why i even went with Stance. Because i too looked at Megan but i did a thread about them and this forum always seems to be accurate on how good a product is. For me getting stance true coil overs GR+Pro for $1210, im sorry the bang for buck ratio is great. ALso, ill be doing a review on them soon so you can see what you missed out. Unlike you i dont mind spending the extra $$ if im getting a good quality product. If you wanted cheap parts get a cheap car. So dont go off by just looking at my tag of what i have. because if you read what i have you know i didnt spend small amounts on the items. Also, don't get me started on how much i spent on audio system to.

Springs and shocks can't get me low to where I want. So I went with coilovers. Have you seen Megan Racing Coilovers and BC? They are the same. One is more expensive cuz it says BC. They are made n the same factory, one says megan and one says BC. Anyways, which megan racing coilovers did you have?

Well, I hope your stance never breaks . Im just glad that the replacement is under warranty. You spending 300 more than me doesn't make your coils better. Expensive doesn't mean its good quality either. Defects happens all the time. I honestly don't care how much you spent on your audio system but thanks for sharing. Your system will get blown by my friends Z anytime. You are a joke. Later dude.

Hmm if there made in the same factory then y they sell them for cheaper hmm... (y would a company sell the same coil over for cheaper when they could get the same amount as bc or stance is selling them for???) honestly bc isnt the biggest name out there... They dont have that selling power(i think just yet). also havent you ever noticed any coil overs that are even good start at $1,000 and go up??? There is a reason why even tein coil overs start around that price for a reason. Point is idk y you even started the thread just to say hmm hey ***** arnt working :/ but i got it under warranty..... waste of time and bandwidth. Also, i never said my audio system was a competition system either. I mean it looks like from your wheels being work you have spent money on grip but yet go cheap on coil-overs :/ yaaaa. i mean honestly what were you trying to get out of this thread?? to make sure you got the same return policy? If you think.....(now please think here)...... there is a reason Y they are a couple hundred cheaper, its not that hard to change certain metals or parts for cheaper metals/plastics to get a cheaper product of the same thing.

Thread Fail /close thread

.........All joking aside Most people go with Stance because they have gotten so many positive reviews and because they actually are good. Megan in the other hand is..... well you know. I would just ask for a refund and buy something that is going to last in the long run. If they are currently giving you problems in the front. Its a matter of time until your rears go out too. Just my 2 cents.

IMO, 350zs are cheap, price wise. It's just that car enthusiasts put their fortune in the car for mods.

lol, dude your the one that is immature to even bring up a silly thread like you did. I have already told the mods to close this useless thread! It so funny you have to be immature about stuff because you got nothing better to say. Honestly if you have so much money to blow then you wouldnt of gotten a Z and would spent the extra 30k for a GT-R. So really E-Thug gtfo honestly. There a reason why the main people in this forum have so much power is because they know exactly what they are talking about. also by the way with obama being are president 35k is very expsenive lol but you seem to be living the E-THUG live you seem to have money flowing lol. dude you need to get a life and learn how this forum works. LOL o my **** doesnt turn lol Did i get the same warrenty as you?? lol really like wtf. lol I lol when i saw this thread and i still lol at your response lol your a joke dude.

Anyways, update...after arguing with megan racing and they are sending me a new pair of front coilovers. This was AFTER I placed an order for some Stance coilovers lol. But hey I'll take both and experiment but it looks like megan will be in the market soon. Like their coilovers, but Im sure all coilovers clunk not to mention that Stance has/had this problem too. The quality of the megan coils are great but I wish they had before consumer service. I had to fight with them for a week and finally when I requested for a refund thats when they opt to send me new coils. Stance was my 2nd choice reason being, because of the ride quality. I hope everything works out.

How is it a silly thread when I have a pertinent question to ask. Wait you replied "went with megan" REALLY dude thats not even relevant to my question. LOL yes 35K is still cheap even with Obama...

Wait Im looking at threads you started...hmm weird idol when cold, burning smell in cabin, how heavy the HR Z should be ...WOW ....

Im surprised you bought an enthusiast LOL ... why settle for an enthusiast when you can buy Stance right? ROFL sigh ... lets have a beer!
