Nismo S Tune and Neg Camber
This is what I am planning.....just doing my homework now.
19 wheels + tires which will make the overall diameter less than 1" taller.
Nismo S-Tune spring and strut kit. I understand that these will drop the car about 3/4 inch front and back. Right?
My question is, it seems like on my stock 17", the rear wheels already have a negative camber, they look like this / \ from behind.
Wouldn't lowering the car by 3/4" and getter bigger diameter tire/wheel make it even worse??? Thus reducing tire life and possiblily feathering?
Anyone have this setup? Please share, thank you.
***also, the NIsmo kit will cure the bouncing problem we have with stock suspension, right? I don't care if it rides rougher, I just don't want my car to bouce like a Civic with cut-springs.***
Thanks for the inputs.

Tire "feathering" is not caused by camber problems. It's a condition caused by improper "toe" adjustment and is an uneven wearing of tread blocks.
As far as the stock "bouncing", everyone I've heard that has the S-Tune claims it is gone.
I'm ordering my S-Tune suspension in the spring.

as for the negative camber.. the Z is designed to have negative camber to begin with.. with the Nismo suspension you will still be able to bring it within specs.. not a problem just get an alignment done sometime after the install after the ride height settles.

Here is a rear shot of Jeff's Z with S-Tune and Nismo Wheels. and 275/40/18 tires.
If you are worried about it people are coming out with camber rods soon as well as adjustable upper control arms by both Performance Nissan and another vendor on this board.
Choices will come.
And by the way.
Be CAREFUL where you get your S-Tune suspension! If you get a Gray Market S-Tune it will NOT be covered under warranty.
NISSAN & Nissan Motor Sports are getting very strict on the gray market parts coming into the states. In order to even order a S-Tune suspension a VIN Number must be supplied and it is recorded that that specific VIN has a S-Tune suspension. If you go into a Nissan dealer for ANY SUSPENSION RELATED PROBLEM you WILL NOT be covered by Nissan's Warranty with the S-Tune suspension unless it was attached to your VIN.
In this case, S-Tune does not mean warranted by Nissan.
