1. How did you get it so early?
2. Is this the Koni Adjustable Shock? (The Orange One?)
3. Is it installed with stock springs or aftermarket springs?
4. What is the expected price for a set (front & back)?
Thanks for your time!

OK drive home......
Very stable....I havent checked to see were they are set on the rebound settings front and rear yet. I will check over the weekend and play with them a little.
The setup right now is so much more tolerable vs the OEM setup.
The car is very forgiving over harsh bumps without being too abrupt.
The rebound in the rear REALLY has helped the bouncing that made me sick on the way too and from work.
Next week we plan putting on some new springs with these puppies but for now I will continue to play around.
The feeling of the slammed Civic with cut springs is gone........now there is proper control of the shock. I believe this set up is going to make a lot of people very happy as a daily driver set up and your average track use.
Its gotta be those 350EVO adjustable sway bars!!!!!!!

BJ,
Thanks! Sounds like the Koni's have answered the one big problem I have had with this car since day one the BOUNCE! Is the 4 mile stretch to & from work OK now? Continue to give us your impressions as you get time documentating the shock settings if you can. Are the shocks easily adjusted both front & rear?

Are they available in colors other than yellow? J/K
What is adjustable....bump or rebound? How are they adjusted? Is the front bump softened?
From what I've read......I'm thinking of just the rears for me as I do not want a setting softer than OEM front bump for my track days.
Off topic......How is your brake cooling kit coming along?

Have no idea where they are at right now. I will check tomorrow. As far as front bump goes........these dont feel to much different from the oem shocks ....i would just say the control is much better.
These are part of the equation....changing the rubber oem bushings is the other part.
The oem valving couldnt control the "wind up" associated with the OEM rubber bushings....ecsp on the rear upper control arms. You will notice a huge difference in just changing those alone......even on the front of the car.
hmmmmmmm .........now where can one get rear upper control arms bushings???? Hmmmmmmm?

Wind up in the rear bushings for those that are asking.......
Here is something to try to show the wind up in the 350Z's rear upper control arms.
If you disconnect the rear ball joint on the upper control arm from the hub.........lift up on the control arm.......then let it fling....watch out.
Basically its exactly what it sounds like. It is how the oem rubber bushing is clamped and the amount of energy that is built up in the bushings.......
I am sure someone can really explain this alot better.

I do not have the bushings on right now. We have all ready tested them in another set of control arms.I have the OEM rubber bushings still in the car. Removing the OEM bushings will let the shocks work even btter now that there is real control.
We make our own control arm bushings ......they do not coem with the Koni kit.
