Suspension Problem
Ok, I feel like an idiot for admitting this, but after two months of being lowered on Hotchkis springs I realized my back right rear was sitting higher than the rest of the car. I must have put the spring in there the wrong way, which was stupid, but my real question is that could this have contributed to my tires losing tread so rapidly? I had an allignment one week after I lowered it and got everything back in spec but now my rear tires are gone and I just realized my mistake, but my fronts are perfect. I was just wondering if the spring being upside down could of killed my tires? Or maybe my Toyo's just decided to lose tread real quick after a certain point. Just need some opinions.
Thanks

Assuming that the springs can be properly installed either way in terms of diameter, etc., then it shouldn't matter which direction they're installed, even if they're progressive.
The ride height would not be different between sides unless one of the following is true:
1. There's a significant difference in weight between sides.
2. There's different geometry between sides.
3. Different springs are used.
When a progressive spring is compressed, it always compresses the lower-rate portion before the higher-rate portions. Orientation is irrelevant.
I would suspect that one of the following is true:
1. You received mis-matched springs in your kit.
2. You installed the spring incorrectly, leading to geometry differences, eg the spring isn't seated correctly.
3. You did a "springmount mod" incorrectly and you're just noticing it now.

Check, or have a mechanic check that the spring is fully seated in the pocket, and that the bushings were not torqued down while the car was in the air. That can also cause binding and improper ride height.
You are always welcome to call us for additional tech support.
