2004.5+ Revised Suspension
So I know that Nissan revised the suspension in 2004.5, and stiffened up the rear spring rates. Did they also re-valve the shocks to match this higher spring rate? I'm thinking that a set of stock '04.5+ rear shocks would be a nice (& cheap) match for my RSR Ti-2000 springs on my '03, but I just wanted to make sure I didn't buy the same shocks that I already have.
Courtesy Parts shows the same rear shock absorber for all years of the 350Z through '07.

In the same boat OP, need a new set of shocks for my 03 Z with lowering springs. I'm looking at Konis, as I'm looking for the adjustability they offer for autocross and also for using the Z as a daily driver.
I got Tockico blues... they claim 25% stiffer than stock. Which year of stock I don't know... but they are nice and tight and i'm happy with them. They were cheap too. Maybe there are better options out there but I don't know.

In the rear the revised shock has less rebound, but the exact same compression damping as the 03/04 shock.
In the front, they pulled down both compression and rebound damping, not surprising should you overlay a 03 shock dyno over a koni shock dyno.

Better option, Tokico D-spec, which has nothing to do with being adjustable but everything about being valved right.
