Default Longevity review Ichiba rear camber kit...

I wanted to share my expeience with the Ichiba rear camber kit to hopefully shift some people in the correct direction of well, something else. These were around 2 years old I would say, but the car was only driven during the summer. Anyway, I was having a wiggle in the rear end on hard corners and going over bumps, so I check the alignment(I do my own at my place of employment) and it was way off. I knocked everything in, the toe and the camber(toe spot on, camber was at -1.8) and it seemed better, but was still there. This was last fall, I put the car away not long after. I then got it out a few weeks ago and took it to work and was checking it for inspect and the tech and I found play in the camber arms...was not expecting that. I ordered a set of the SPC after talking with the guys at B2AutoDesigns (the ichiba look idential but I know now they are not) any they overnighted me a set. the following pictures say it all, crap bushings! no way should these go so quick IMO, all my stock rubber Nissan bushing are still decent after 105k.. Also with the SPC arms I was able to pull the camber in to -1.58 as well vs -1.8.

My personal opinion, if you have these, check them, if your are shopping, fork out the extra cash now so your do not have to redo it again!

You can also see how the paint is gone on the adjuster, and that it was maxed out...

I almost bought the kinetix but they have had issues on the past with welds breaking(on all their products not just arms- they may be through with that but I wasn't going to risk it) and I can tell you the bushings in the SPC are miles better. Honestly SPL makes darn good stuff, its just too rich for my poor butt. I like the angled too, the moog endlinks I have are gigantic compared to the OEs.
