Default Tein flex coilover knocking / clunking

Part: Tein Flex Front Drivers side.

Issue: Clunking / Knocking completely loose sounds and causes the car to shake from improper "connections" somewhere in the top of the shock housing.

The clunking is coming from inside the assembly above the ring pictured.

The ring is loose.

Any ideas? Pillowball?

Thanks for your help!

the pillow ball mount is usually loose, they don't tighten them all the way from the factory, so i would start there

A lot of times parts like this aren't tightened to what they should be.

How do I tighten it? I was practicing drifting and rolled up onto the curb so I wouldn't doubt if it was more than loose, noisy since.

I hate it when curbs get in the way of drifting.

Tighten the nut at the top. I recommend taking them off.
