Default Need some suspension help!

Hey guys,

I need some help deciding on a suspension setup. The z is my dd, and my commute to work takes 10 minutes. Aside from driving to work and running errands/gym, I will be tracking the car maybe once a month or every few months. I have three paths I can take, 1). stock suspension with eibach sportline springs, which I have right now and I would have to spend any more money. 2). Tokico d-specs with eibach sportlines. 3). Or eibach/kw coilovers. I already bought hotchkis sways and am waiting for them to get here. Which suspension setup would be good enough for the track while mostly using it for dd? I wasn't sure the kw coils were the best choice since dampening is not adjustable, maybe the dspec with sportlines is a better choice?

What is your budget?

You can get KW V3 for a little over 2k I believe which is a great hybrid setup.

To be honest, track how the car sits until you need to upgrade (out driving your suspension)

Save your cash and buy a dedicated set of track wheels

I have kw's and love them. They have a nice ride in the street, and preform on the track. I'd recommend getting them.

Im not sure what my budget is. I can go up to maybe 2k, for the kw3's, but I'd prefer to stay within the kw1 range.

yup, save your money..buy some old OEM wheels and put on some track tires and buy some track brake pads...and add the sway bars and decent OEM style shocks and ...use the springs you have...you are good to go
