Raceland coilovers.

I think you guys are being to hard on raceland coilovers. Of course they aren't the best but for 470 with a 2 year warranty and very stiff springs 12.5kg front on the 350z, they are worth a shot. I'm going to try them on my e36 first for only 370.I've heard good things from someone who was drifting with these on his e36.

Several local guys have them on their VWs... The words "hate" "horrible" "crappy ride" "just for looks" and "you get what you pay for" were all used when they described them.
Buy a cheap car if you want to throw cheap parts at it. Doesn't make much sense to buy a nicer car and downgrade the STOCK suspension for something else just because it's lower. Even the NF210 springs I had were pretty damn cheap on my old Z, still a better choice than these.

I wanna try to give the end-all-of-all-end-all's review's to these coilovers...
I am formerly a Euro guy, and by formerly I mean my last 4 cars were all Volkswagens and they still hold a small place in my heart haha.
Raceland originally ONLY made coilovers for Euro cars so I feel like after all my years of seeing reviews AND installing them myself, I probably have a good well-rounded opinion on their quality.
AND I can vouch that they actually ARE NOT that bad of a coilover.
It just all depends on WHAT YOU WANT out of your coilovers.
If you want to go low, and thats it - BOOM; buy Racelands.
But if youre looking to drop it and IMPROVE the ride quality/functionality - NOPE; do not buy Racelands.
Its as simple as that. Most of the kids in the Volkswagen/Audi/Euro "scene" just wanna be the lowest. And most of them dont wanna spend the money to do it right, so luckily Raceland was there to give them the option to do it and to do it cheap.

You're going to hate me but i want to try these out haha. Sold the h&r coilovers because the springs were to soft for my liking. I still have the nismo springs if i want to go back to stock. Will be posting up my sportlines for sale if i get these racelands.

If I remember correctly from an old post ... the racelands were very soft riding. You may prefer to stay with them. If you like the firmer feel for a budget, go with BC racing and custom order different springs. Takes 2-3 weeks from our vendors for special builds.
