Default TC Kline = Truechoice?

A little confused, last week I sent my d/a TC Kline konis to their Ohio shop to get dynoed/rebuilt if necessary. Got a call from TC saying they received them today and sent them to Truechoice for the dyno/rebuild. I thought they were two seperate shops, and was caught off guard when I heard that. With that being said does anyone have a backstory or know why Truechoice rebuilds TC shocks? Have they merged or partnered up as of late?

No they are seperate places, but i think Truechoice is one of the few authorized Koni rebuilders in the U.S., and TC Kline stopped reproducing shocks for Nissans a long time ago.

They are two separate companies. TC Kline is a not a damper manufacturer and doesn't have the capability to calibrate and to build Koni dampers; that's when TrueChoice comes in. TC would specify valving and either Koni NA or TrueChoice built them accordingly. For rebuilding, TrueChoice is local to TC Kline.

The two might be affiliates but they are not merged.
