I just installed my Stance coilovers and my rear ride height does not match. It's off by a couple of mm. I was reading around other forum and people are saying to just match the height by adjusting the coilover and leaving the pre load alone. I just need some insight on this. Thank you.

 

Adjust the height with preload only, shock length his used to set your travel.

You can do it that way, or you can make sure you are providing the proper amount of travel needed for you suspension to work correctly and making sure the bumpstops engage where they are needed.
