Default Coilovers too low in the rear!

Installed some Powertrix OEM style coilovers with the seperate shock and spring in the rear (just like BC Racing, Megans, etc)on my 2003 g35 sedan, but the spring perch maxed out as high as it can go and the car is pretty much slammed! I need it to go higher as I'm scraping on speedbumps and don't want to ruin my exhaust or anything else underneath there. Anyone have any idea as to what I can do to get it higher?

I have never worked on a 350Z OEM type coilover system, only a "true" type coilover system.

I would think you also need to adjust the height on the shock body as well? And not just the spring perch? Looking at pictures of the Powertrix coilovers, it does appear to have an adjustable collar on the shock body.

It does but as far as I know that only adjusts droop doesnt it? Would it affect ride height?

EDIT: scrap everything I needed to learn what droop was lol

lolmooses, adjusting the strut is mainly for setting droop but will also affect ride height. If your droop is set correctly and the spring perch is maxed out and you are still too low...I don't know that to tell you.

Maybe you got the wrong springs?
I know 350Z lowering spring on the G35 usually provide a bigger drop. So maybe if your coilovers are same part as the 350Z ones, same thing is happening? Just throwing out ideas.

Post pics of the strut, spring perch/spring and what height it appears to be at. It will help people help you
