I would get the whole front end off of the ground so that the sway bar has no tension. Then remove the endlink from the other side. This should allow you to manipulate the sway bar up or down to get the angle right and remove the end link from the problem side. (You may have better luck moving the control arm then too)

Remove the other sides lower shock mount bolt !!!!!!! The sway bar is twisted cause the side with the new coilover is shorter.

You have about 700 pounds of force twisting the sway right now. You need to relieve the force before the bolt comes out.

You tried to jack it, jack it more. As your listing it from the ball joint watch the bolt when you see the bolt move , your golden. You may even lift the car off the jack stand when doing this.

Thx guys! I removed the other sides shock mount bolt and loosened the end link. That allowed me to move the sway bar enough to free the bolt on the other side. Frustrating situation but at least I learned something I guess.

There is a reason I knew the answer. Been there , done that. But it only set me back 10 minutes.

Hi, so I know this thread is a couple of years old but I seem to be having the same problem as this guy, the end link is stuck on the LCA, I’ve also removed the bolt that goes on the inside of the LCA so that might make my situation worse, spent a good part of the afternoon trying to find a way to put it back together but no luck. I’m willing to try what you said but Can someone tell me which one exactly is the lower shock mount bolt?
