Default Callahan or Z1

I have a 04 roadster touring(non-brembo) with 133k miles. Trying to get new set of brakes.

Budget is around 700$ so BBK isn't in that price range.

I've been researching, and looking around all of this forum. While searching, I found a Z1Motorsport non brembo brake kit.
Link: http://www.z1motorsports.com/350_g35...oducts_id=2240

It comes with:
4 Crossdrilled/slotted rotors
4 SS lines
Choice of brake pad (extra for better pads ex. Stoptech, Hawks HPS)
Choice of brake fluid (extra for better fluid)
Total: 448$ (shipping-unknown)

The second kit was found on Amazon while browsing
Link:
Amazon.com: Callahan FRONT + REAR Red [4] Calipers + [4] Rotors + Quiet Low Dust [8] Ceramic Pads Performance Kit: Automotive Amazon.com: Callahan FRONT + REAR Red [4] Calipers + [4] Rotors + Quiet Low Dust [8] Ceramic Pads Performance Kit: Automotive

It comes with:
4 Front+rear Red Calipers
4 Crossdrilled/slotted rotors
8 quiet-low dust ceramic pads
Total: 548.04 (free shipping)

I'm planning to do the install myself using DIY section of this forum so I can learn/gain experience.

The question is which kit would be better? I'm currently siding with the Callahan on amazon at the moment because I really want the red calipers. But the Z1 kit has SS lines-which i also want.

I looked on amazon and Stoptech SS lines are around 60$ for a set of 4. And set of 4 Red calipers are 250$.

This is my first car and I know little about cars. Which option/route would you guys suggest?

are the callahan ones single or dual piston? to me it looks single which would be exactly what you have now... not worth changing everything imho. to me small red calipers scream rice

I would go for the Z1 kit as it comes with lines and fluid. Then if you really desire red callipers just paint them your self (Leave them OEM colour IMO). You would probably still be up a few $ even after shipping.

Wonder if Amazon sells something similar for the 06 cars. Be an easier way to upgrade the brakes than piece mealing it together.

The next step up are 06-08 brake rotor/caliper upgrades. They are bigger than the 04-05 model.
