You need to position your jack further back on the pumpkin, off the cover. You are putting a lot of pressure on the cover by doing it that way.

I call BS. I don't care how bad your alignment is, 1 1/2 week old tires would NEVER look like that, unless you literally sat there and destroyed them on purpose.

Also, considering your rigged up setup with no muffler and your worn tires, I am willing to bet you were trying to "drift" and you hit a curb, or you were going too fast. A car should never "spin out" at neighborhood speeds.
