ES & Whiteline Compression arm Bushing side by side comparison (PICS)
whats up my350z! so i been on here for a while soaking up information (thanks guys!
) and hope i could contribute a little. I ran into my options as far as a replacement bushing for the compression arm but there has always been the whiteline vs ES debate on which to get as far as durability and material stiffness. Soo i bought both
one for my 350z and the other set for the G35, i took side by side pictures of both products so you can see their design comparison. now on first impression and feel the whiteline does feel a bit softer material wise and honestly a little bit better designed but like many things looks could be deceiving. The ES bushing is a bit stiffer but looks like a oversized classic es bushing and it does not sit flush with the tube insert unlike the whiteline (see pics) without leaving a gap which kind of well worries me. i will be installing the front ES kit on the Z ( Compression,and all LCA) tomorrow and G35'S probably in the next couple weeks as i don't have lifetime alignment on the G unlike the Z (great investment btw). i will bring back my impressions as soon as i get both installed and have some drive time on both.I hope this helps anyone who is trying to decide on which bushing they would like to purchase. cheers

The one with the knurled insides is better, and sitting flush with the tube isn't necessarily a good thing.
Personally I think Prothane are better, and right at the top would be SuperPro.

Having just installed a set of whiteline bushings in that arm, the bushing insert is slightly recessed when installed onto the arm. Did the ES come with spacers like the whiteline did? I would be slightly worried that the lower portion would get chewed up by the structural brace without the washer.
