Default What broke first?

Trying to figure out what failed first. My guess it was the spc camber arm. Then the end link and the the Coilover. After wheel ripped off then the rotor exploded,on the ground. **** sucks but setup lasted years of abuse. I just bought a wise fab rear end kit to replace all this crap.

The only part than can cause that to happen is the camber arm. The end link really does nothing as far as alignment is concerned. If an endlink breaks, handling changes slightly , no big deal.

I kinda think it may have been the wheel studs failing, then the rest happened when the suspension touched down

Yep Definitely spc arm failed first.
Lucky you wernt at an event with walls!

Looks like it failed just before the threaded portion of the shaft?

Good catch on possible wheel stud issue!

I don't think it was a wheel stud issue. They were all torqued on and double checked like always. I think that the wheel, studs broke after the wheel was forced under the car. But who could really know.

Would need a better camera, more pics or a high quality video.

2 sceneries

1. Wheel shered off, went under, maybe helped pop the camber arm , rotor touched and the rest happened.

2. Arm sheared off, wheel tucked, , sheared lug nuts , rotor touched and damage happened.

I have a hard time believing a drift car that should be running properly torqued wheels on ARP studs is going to fail. Normally those studs will rip the center of the wheel out before they fail.

All bets are off if crappy bolt in spacers and or other brand studs were used.

That must have been sad to tow home without a rear wheel... Pretty impressive you got an action shot of the carnage, you should go to cvs print that out 8x10 and hang it on the wall.
