Hello everyone, I currently own tein mono flex coilovers but it's a bit rough for my needs. I am looking at 3 coilovers and was wondering which one would you guys recommend.

1 Bilstein B14 pss coilover
2 St coilover "kw v1's"
3 tanabe sustec pro CR

I know these coilovers won't slam the car to the ground.

 

I'd pick the first 2... here is another THREAD you can read and digest. There are many more threads just search for it.

But another thought.... as your original post indicates, the ride of your present c/o's is too rough and you mention the new ones not "slamming" the car so that tells me that excessive lowering is not a concern/need to you and also, based on your selections of the PSS14 and KW1s, neither is shock adjustability. Yes/no?

That said, why not consider a static setup? In which case, I'd recommend Bilstein Prokit B12 setup, Excellent ride characteristics, proven good handling, modest lowering.

And save a couple hundred bucks to be used towards something else.... like a night out with the wife or something. Happy wife...happy lif....

 

Fortune Auto- they build the coilover suspension to your specs and driving style. Springs are matched and shock dynoed prior to shipping. Do a bit more research on them, very few companies out there that will build a custom suspension for individual customers.

 

The MeisterR GT1 coilovers I am using is probably over budget for your need and usage.
But quite a few local owners who are using the MeisterR ZetaCRD coilovers seems to be happy with similar usage at similar price bracket.

I personally is a firm believer that adjustable damping makes a huge difference.
Without it, you just don't have the tools necessary to find what is right for you personally.

After all, one person stiff is another person's soft.
I personally ride my suspension very soft, because I am willing to give up a little steering response for more comfort as I drive on the freeway a lot.

 

I think I will be going with the ST coilover. Going to see who can give me the best price.
