I can't say anything, I'm at -19mm with 275s and NO CLEARANCE issues with NO ROLL on any of my wheel/tire configs. (And for kicks one time with a short-time-owned set of wheels I picked up, ran 295/35-18 with no issues owing to a conservative but effective lowering.)
S'far as the stock spring rear/Hotchkis front, well, the softer spring out back could conceivably lead to understeer when pushing the car hard but I hardly think its anything to really be concerned about. Understeer is how the car is set up stock to keep a driver out of tail happy trouble.
But frankly, since it's all in already, rectify the clearance issue and move on.
I finally got my car back today. Almost everything went well and the car now rides amazing. The wheels look nice and the car sits great. I ended up having to get the fenders rolled. Sadly, it screwed up the paint. In the grand scheme of things I guess it's not that bad as the car needs new paint anyway. I was hoping to put off new paint until next summer, AFTER I get the engine work done, but it might have to come sooner now.
Anyway, sharing a few pics. Yes the car is very dirty, I just got it back and haven't had a chance for a wash. The fender clearance with the Hotchkis springs and Koni shocks puts me at just barely a single index finger. I think that was quite a bit more of a drop than advertised.
you are just jealous i can get a 345 under mine without any issues
what i was implying is that if they did it in like 15 minutes, they prob rolled flat on the first pass. the guy that did mine, did 4 passes until it was almost flat heating up the paint/metal with each pass
Dude, something is wrong with you needing a rear roll. I run the exact same tires on the same size wheels dropped an inch and a quarter on KW's, 19x10.5 +22 and have plenty of clearance for the rear without them rolled. Like so much room I am tempted to put a 10mm spacer or something. Are you sure your wheels are 19x10.5 +22, because with mine are definitely stretched more than yours in that photo.
I would also be pissed at whoever rolled your fenders. They did a **** poor job cracking the paint that bad. Did they even use a heat gun? That sucks to get bad work done like that.

Don't need no steenkin' 345s to pull a g+.
Just nerves of steel.
But yeah, no heat will almost definitely crack the paint. Gotta makes it flexibleble and take it slooooow.
I couldn't say. They didn't know exactly when they'd be able to get to my car, so it was left with them overnight. The guy said he used heat and didn't try to roll the fenders all at once, but I wasn't there, so that may have not been the truth.
And yeah, I was so, so sure that the Hotchkis springs with that size wheel and tire would not need a roll. I scoured the forums for over a week trying to read every post where someone was using the Hotchkis springs and running 285 tires in the back. It seemed like everyone was good WITHOUT a roll. Sadly, in my case, it just did not turn out that way. I had a lot of rubbing when the car went over bumps and dips. Everything is on properly and the car is handling and riding great. the only thing I can figure is... I don't know, is the 35th Anniversary Edition maybe different in the suspension department than other Z's? It's beyond me, but it's working.
And as for the f@cked up paint, I'd probably be pissed if the paint wasn't already in sad shape, but it is. You may not see it in the pictures but that's because I took them at a distance and didn't focus on the areas of the car where it's really bad. Once of the previous owners of the car put on a clear bra, probably back when the car was new, and now it's all cracked and the cracks are black. You can't see it until you get a bit closer to the car, but once you do, well... it's ugly. And I just know I won't be able to get it all off without taking off some paint too.
trav, my 2014 Corvette has the lat. G's on the HUD. Well, it's configurable, so if you want it there, you can add it. This was my very first Corvette, how may generations of the 'vette have had the HUD?

All of the Z suspension geometries are identical. And the amount you lower it doesn't matter because of the camber gain with the multilink suspension. I bet your wheels may be a different offset from what you think.
This is 19x10.5+22 on an unrolled quarter (1 degree on camber). I have been stock height, lowlowlow, and this is 1.25 dropped. They have never had any contact at all.
every car is different, i was running 18x9.5 +15 with 275/40 tire and i was rubbing. if i remember correctly i was like -1.5 camber. i had eibach pro-kit and tokico d-specs

Okay, yeah, mine stick out further than that, so maybe the offset is NOT at +22.
Hmmm, is the offset stamped on the Volks anywhere?

So that will have an identical outerclearance as I currently have, so if you had a tire that ran particularly wide, I could see that rubbing. I do disagree a bit that every car is different. I bet the cars are within 2mm or less, unless worn bushings and stuff starts coming into play.
Part of the reason I am confused with OP is that we have the same tires.

I shouldda multiquoted, but o well. The offset will be stamped into the spoke on the backside near the center hub. They have a +12 in that size that would explain everything.
BTW I am super jealous of that suspension mod list. Thats some high dollar, quality parts.
