Default Stock track model

I have a 2006 track & want to know if the factory struts/shocks are mono-tube, or twin tube ? I'll be replacing all 4 soon. Also, what is the suspension difference between, say a base or touring model vs. the track model ? Thicker sway bars, lowered springs, stiffer struts ? All of the above ?

Single tube, made by Tokico.... same as all model Z33.

There is NO difference between the Track suspension and any other trim level.

Track trim gets you aerodynamics (front, rear spoiler), Brembo brakes (big diff) as the main differences. And at least they're functional upgrades.

Was there a "Track" model in '06? I don't think I've ever seen one.

What wheels did they have? Track V1, or did they get the staggered V2 wheels the GT had?

Staggered V2 , just like the GT car. Has Brembo , cloth seats don't remember if he has TCS or VDC

'06 Track should have VDC and as mentioned, 18/19. Hence "Track 2/GT wheels"

My 2005 Track model came with a 34mm front anti-roll bar instead of the stock 32mm. So yes, there are differences between other models and the Track model...

Wow...... NEVER heard that one before.

I just went through every listing I could find with model/version breakdown and that's not noted anywhere. Oh, and I'm NOT doubting you, PDX, just find that very interesting. Would love to get ahold of one of those and throw it on for kicks along with a stock all-model front to swap and compare. Except I threw my stock bars out a long while ago.

Just wonder if your '05 bar might be part of the 2004.5 suspension re-do.... Hmmmm.

It appears that the change was a part of the fact that the 2005 Track model was a mid-year introduction (there were no 2005 Track models without the RevUp engine). I wouldn't be surprised if the 2005 Anniversary Edition 6MT (also mid-year) came with the 34mm front bar.

The reason I found out was that I replaced the stock bar with a Hotchkis 34mm hollow front bar shortly after getting it home. The stock bushings matched the Hotchkis bar, and the Hotchkis bushings matched the stock front bar.
