Default Megan "Toe" arms/ "Camber" arms are the same??

I will try not to be too long winded in describing my issue.

I bought some pretty wide rims, and instead of going with extreme camber, I've adjusted everything flat. I purchased "camber" arms from Megan and they sent me arms that I am being told are "toe" arms. So I purchased J-Spec "camber" arms which look completely different with a 45 degree angle Bend. The Megan "camber" arms they sent or straight.

Not sure what the deal is, but I have been searching the entire net for the better portion of a year now for a write up, video, or anything on installation of "Toe" arms. I have only found pictures of the toe arms themselves(which I can't tell the difference), and eons of installation videos on "camber" arms.

Furthermore, with the Megan brand control arms, I don't see the difference between their camber arms and toe arms. They look exactly alike.

Currently, the Megan arms (whichever they actually are) are on the Z in the camber arm position.

The issue is My contact patch is about 5°off. But I can't adjust the camber positive without the "toe" going negative Automatically and I don't want to scrub my tires.

Does anyone have any link to a part number, or info on the difference between Megan camber and toe arms... And how to install them???

Because I tried to throw them on the toe position, and that bolt on the mount looks way to big for the arm I got.

So confusing

Sorry you're having problems, but those Megan parts are the junkiest of all the junk, and they don't belong on any Z. t worst, they're unsafe and unreliable, and at best, you've figured out they don't fit properly.

Post pics, show up what exact parts you have.

Then of course the other part, after seeing a rear Megan arm fail , just can't recommend them. I recommend SPL for tracked cars and SPC for others.

Parts quality not withstanding, rear toe arms are only used with "true coilovers" wherein the no-longer-used spring buckets are replaced with the toe arms and used for - pretty obviously - rear toe adjustment.

Toe, on conventional suspension cars, is "adjusted" by installing offset toe bolts.

These are the "camber arms I got from Megan

After I took them off, I bought these j-spec camber arms.

In the top right of the picture in is the stock Toe arm that I was about to put the Megan arm on after being told that it was actually the toe arm... But as you can see, the diameter is too small. So I took the j-spec arms back off and put these back on until I got the story straight

Diameter on the Megan arm is small, the bolt does not fit in the hole?

Megan doesn't happen to put a part number on the box of the part they sell do they ?

(MRS-NS-0310) it comes up as "camber arms". But these don't have the 45° angle Bend and ever shop I go to to find toe arms are telling me they are "toe arms". But there is no way they could be. And all there part arms look alike. Or are for other cars.

Not all rear camber adjusters are bent. Matter of fact, trying to remember if my SPCs are the bent ones or the earlier straight ones. Either way, they do the same job.

The part number you quoted are CAMBER ARMS, NOT toe arms. True toe arms replace the spring bucket and are longer than camber arms by a fair amount.

I notice the pic you put up, you've not eliminated the lower-link (spring bucket).

Here are proper toe arms to replace the lower link...

As for any other questions, the following is a must-read for anyone interested in doing up a "right" suspension for your needs:

OK... So this is not the toe arm?

But the spring bucket works as a toe adjust...

. . . Jeez🙃

Got it...

So that explains why it doesn't fit lol

Also explains why all I keep finding is "spring bucket elimination" videos when I search for "toe arm installation" videos.

Looks like my solution is clear.
- I did get camber arms from megan
- get a actual toe arm to replace the spring bucket and flatten my contact patch all the way
- (#jewel) don't get it from Megan

Thanks guy
Sorry if it was a bit more trivial then I thought I was

... And just for my education, I'm going to go look up what the attributes of upgrading radius arms are lol

Radius rod does help control toe changes at the rear.

It's not a trivial thing and you are right to be confused.... angles of the dangles and all of the other shid that goes on under a car at any given moment in time and curvature aren't necessarily intuitive.
