If I plan on getting wider tires in future should I bother with springs?

Ooops, sorry, yes, ProKit. Originally had the Bilstein B-12 Prokit set up but swapped out the shocks for Koni. (Why....gave the Bilstein B6 shocks away to someone who really needed new shocks but was a starving student at the time. )
With Bilsteins, lowering was net -15mm, with Konis, -19mm.

Cool. I've got 18x10.5 et20 with 275/35 going in the back and 18x9.5 et35 265/35 going in the front. Do you think I will have any clearance issues if I throw the Pro-Kit on?
Just trying to get an idea of fit as I am getting out the measuring tape once they get put on to be sure. I really don't want to get into rolling fenders.

In any event, I don't think you'll have much issue. Only way to know from car to car though, is to actually fit them to it. If you have any interference, it's going to be minor - over bumps and that sort if thing. You MAY (or may not) have to roll SLIGHTLY.
Wait..... just realized you said 275/35-18.... Doubt you'll have clearance issues with the shorter than OE tires. But watch that VDC if you have it. But given your fronts are also 35 aspects, probably fine.

Can't say for sure.... now that I've thought back to all the wheels I've had on the car (embarrassed to admit how many sets ), the most "aggressive" (wrong word but you get the idea) rear set I had on before having to roll the fenders were 10.5 +22 with 275s and they fit fine. I can't recall if I ran my 10.5 Volks - which I now run spaced at +14 - was before or after fender roll.... Hmm....may have to go back and look at my records.

Thanks for the response and no VDC just an enthusiast model! the 35 is how I know I will need to get some sort of lowering springs......going to be a large wheel gap. I'm just hoping that with this old of a car (2004) I won't need to get the bolts and arms to have the adjustment in the rear....... Only time will tell!
Good luck and post pics!
