Default Polyurethane sway bar bushings

Got my urethane sway bar bushings in a couple of weeks ago. They are made specifically for the 350Z. Have yet to install them due to lack of time. I have been looking for these for over a year now. Part numbers are 14-1116 for the rear sway bars, and 14-1115 for the front. Since you can't order them diretly through Prothane, I got Summit Racing to get mine. Price was $14 for front and $14 for rear for a total of $28. I have the Nismo suspension and sways, and my regular rubber sways are all chewed up after 20K miles and some spirited driving. Will post review once I have time to install them.

polyurethane? so are they a very hard rubber, almost like a hard plastic feeling?

if so... you may make your car squeeky...

that is why alot of people like the sways that use either the stock bushings like the stillen or the Nismo Sways because they use a harder rubber bushing...

but please let us know how these work out for you... and if they are squeeky...

im waiting for energy suspension to come out with some bushings... or maybe I need to get on NISMO to put some out

Your going to be able to use bushings on larger fatter sway bars ment for smaller OEM bars? I got away with using the oem bushings on fatter bars because the oem rubber is soft, where's the give gonna come from with poly urathane? Were you able to spec bushings bored for the fatter bars?

The urethane is a little harder than stock or the Nismo bushings. The kit comes with some special grease/lube stuff to eliminate the squeaking. My car is so damn loud right now with the Injen Exhaust, Nismo Headers, Crawford Plenum and cats that there is no way I will be able to hear any squeaking anyway. I'll try to install them this weekend and let every one know how the urethane bushing perform.

The Prothane bushings are the same diameter and size as the stock bushings and nismo bushings. Now I have not measured the bushings or anything, just put them all side to side and they are identical in size.

As far as the sway bars themselves, I was always under the impression that the Nismo Sways were identical in size and diameter. The difference is in teh thinkness and density of the metal. I could be wrong on this, but I will not have any problems getting the urethane bushings to fit the Nismo sway bars.
