Default PBM Angle kit with PBM coils

Hey how’s it going y’all?

I’m running into an issue with my Z. So I bought the Z back in late 2017 and the first thing I did for it was PBM coilovers. I slapped them on, got the height right where I wanted everything was good. Later in 2018 I got PBMs super angle kit, once again slapped everything on but I’m running into a height issue with the coilsovers. I’ve maxed the height of the coilovers almost to where the sleeves could’ve been disconnected with a few spins and it’s still extremely low to where is being pushed up on the fenders (definitely wouldn’t send it with a few threads within the sleeve lol). I immediately jacked it back up and took the coilovers off again. I’m not quite sure what to do. I haven’t messed with the preload at all and am hesitant too . Do I just say screw it and take the fenders off until I get over fenders or what? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

If youve maxed out the body length your only option is to add preload (adding preload is ok). If you cant get them in range with preload you will need a longer spring. And remember you affect shock travel in rebound and compression when you change variables that alter shock piston position at static. Arent they a "super low" optimized coilover though? It sounds like you should just but another set, or change your wheels.

Add preload

preload is not a bad thing, it's actually needed to get the car dialed if you know what you're doing
