I have a 2006 350Z track. I purchased two front lower control arms from e racing. Everything bolts up correctly but the ball joint opening on the new control arm is larger than on my old lower control arm. The taper on the ball joint and the taper on the lower control arm are not the same. Anyone else ran into this?

i know that there are 2 different ones, when i initially tried to replace them on my 08 the diameter was smaller and the cone angle was different on the replacements. everywhere swore they were the same but i know for a fact they were different, i ended up just buying the entire knuckle assembly instead of chasing parts
