Default 2004 Nissan 350z Touring - Random Loss of Power - VDC and SLIP Light Turning On

Hello Everyone - I am once again back with another problem with my lovely 350z ^_^

A few months ago I started having a few issues, and my mechanic is stumped!

Issue One:
The first issue was a momentary loss of power, resulting in both VDC and TC (SLIP) turning off, as well as my head unit, and sometimes my heat. Sometimes my VDC & TC would come back, but sometimes it won't (usually if I'm turning or hard accelerating). One day I had a really bad time with it after driving for a few hours, my car started to go crazy. I kept losing power which resulted in me losing acceleration. The car would boot back up after a few seconds - but it was more or less a rapid shut down & back on. I was on the freeway when this happened so I pulled off into a parking lot to turn my car off and back on - after that it appeared that my battery was drained as it would not turn over. I waited a little bit in this parking lot, awaiting someone to come boost me, decided to try again and she started up. I drove her right to the mechanic and had them try to find the root cause. They checked my alternator and my battery, both measured very well - so it was neither of those.

Issue Two:
The second issue, I believe may be correlated with the first issue. Whenever braking going ~30KM/H (~20MP/H) there is a vibrating sensation in the brake - it feels like when ABS kicks in. I also took it to the mechanic when this started but to no avail. I searched on this forum for people having similar issues, I found a few people but not that many. This thread has a VERY similar issue to me, but of course OP never delivers. It could possible be this: "Now I suspect its the abs sensor hitting the calipers or rotors?", as I've read online that the ABS, VDC, and TC are all interlinked together, so if one fails they will all fail. But there are other potential causes, like bad grounds, short circuits, overloaded circuits, or just a faulty ABS sensor.

It is worth noting that in January 2024 I had an aftermarket sound system installed, a subwoofer, aftermarket speakers, an AMP, the works. I had it all professionally done and it has worked fine for about a year so I don't want to jump to conclusions that it may be an overloaded circuit. I also have an aftermarket back-up camera, as well as a CompuStar system (which I don't use - it's not even "active" right now). The car is also not throwing an CEL codes for this.

I also noticed that in this thread, specifically the reply from "halfass872" - he mentions that "low speed vibration could be causing it to intermittently loose contact" - this is also a possibility, considering my car is at 140,000 Kilometers (87,000 Miles) and the shocks are definitely done for, so the ride may be a bit rougher than usual.

I'm just looking for some insight, has anyone experience a similar issue? Is it possible that my two issues are intertwined? Should I just gun it and get new ABS sensors installed?

Thank you in advance :^)

Issue #1 sounds like a classic case of a failing crankshaft and/or camshaft position sensor going bad - TCS and VDC light on, loss in power, taking longer to start, etc. Sometimes, it's bad enough to throw a code and other times it doesn't. If the sensors are still original and you're at 87K miles, then they're due up.
