Question ABS Module Part Number for a 04‘ MT Convert

Hi Forum,

Unfortunately I might have cooked my ABS actuator module on track... TCS, SLIP, and ABS always on with code C1111. While I think it is probably find driving without abs, I have some brake bias issue last trackday and I think it is time to get the problem solved. I ordered part 47660-CD067, ABS Module which is corresponding to my car model, a 04 touring MT convertible. However, because I got the part from a junkyard in a different state, I find that the part number engraved on the alluminum block itself says 47660-CD003 instead of CD067.
Now, I still have a glimpse of hope for it might fit my car, because I cannot find the part # online - maybe it is a Nissan Part coding thing? I am asking the forum for your wisdom in confirming the fitment of the part # to my car. I need an ABS block with TCS, no VDC, for MT, for a 2004 DE non-revup convertible. I did some research and the part# seems should be 47660 CD067. Can anyone confirm that this new part with #CD003 will fit my car before I get all dirty with brake fluid?

Thanks!

You should be fine. As wild as it seems, I am having the EXACT same issue with my Z. Our ABS setup and vehicle are identical in this regard except that I have a cd003 in my car and the dealers I've talked to also told me to locate a cd066 or cd067. The dealerships also told me that there is no cd003 in their database and that I must have the wrong part but this just helps me double down on the fact that it is indeed a correct part number as well.

I've been trying to hunt down an ABS pump for almost a year and a half now with no luck. I've had my orders canceled on me several times which has been frustrating to say the least. Now my car has a leaking brake caliper on the passenger front and if I can't locate a pump then I'll be out the car from the looks of it. So if you happen to spot another Z somewhere with this setup then perhaps let me know.

Hi Eerie!

I am glad you replied! I can now go ahead and take my car to a shop with the part. I really appreciate your help in confirming the part and I hope I can help you. So, for these old car parts that are oddly specific in part number and trim level, the long existing problem of the lack of inter communication of used car markets are very prominent. I think there may be one in your nearby junk yard - but the folks there just never bothered to record and upload the correct part# or validate the partout car at all. I understand it's hard, I've been there.
My resolution is I go to find parts at some weird, out-dated sites - not like ebay or even facebook. I look for my parts over at https://www.car-part.com/ , like, actually a website that has aged like fine wine. It always works whatever I am looking for.
You mentioned that our car model & year is exactly the same, so you can probably use my exact input: 2004, Nissan 350Z, Anti-lock Brake Pump, USA, your zip code. Then, on the next pop up menu, select Pump, Conv (traction control), MT. Now, these sites aren't the most efficient so I will always double check with the supplier for confirmation. As far as I see theres quite a bunch lying around, from $75 - $599... so pick your flavor.

Good Luck!

That's an incredibly useful website. I'll bookmark that for later. During my junkyard binge earlier (literally part of why I found this post) I was able to find one out in canada and have it ordered. After all of this time looking, it's rather amusing to not only find what I was looking for but also to have a site recommended that also has the part on it... I suppose tonight was definitely the night to go parts hunting! Thanks!
