JIC Users
My front tires have fallen victim to the feathering issue at 13K miles. I have the JIC Coilovers along w/JIC camber and traction rods waiting to be installed. W/the new suspension setup and an alignment will this take care of the feathering issue? Thanks for any help
The feathering is a result of the improper matching of the OEM shock valving to the OEM spring rate. So yes, the coilovers will eliminate the feathering issue. Get an alignment afterwards to set the toe in spec.
I dunno John, we just had a member with the S-tune suspension say he has tire feathering. Of course it's just one person,.......so far. And I have the oem 350Z suspension, no tire feathering for me at 7.7K, just bald rear Kumho MX's,,,,grrr.

It's quite possible that the individual you are referring to already had the feathering wear from before he/she installed the S-tune suspension. I had a nasty case of feathering myself, and the suspension has since cured my car of this illness.
