Default Review: Tein H.Tech springs/ Hotchkis sway bars

I installed Tein H.Tech Luxury Master springs and Hotchkis sway bars 2 weeks and 1500 miles ago and the ride is much improved, the harshness is gone. The ride is firm and well planted, thoroughly sporty yet more comfortable than the stock ride. The car has loads of grip and balance in low, medium, and high speeds turns. Turn-in is quicker and more precise. Body roll feels the same (very little) but I don’t track the car. The bars are set full soft front and rear.

I probably gave up some extreme at-the-limit performance for a healthy dose of daily drivability and relief from the harshness. It’s seems clear that Nissan’s ripple-control shocks are the main source of the bouncing, they should be called controlled-ripple shocks for all the good they do. I ordered a set of yellow Koni sport shocks hopefully they’ll cure the rest of the bouncing.

Here’s the product info:

TEIN High.Tech Luxury Master springs:
0.3-inch drop front and 0.2-inch drop rear
Spring rate: 358 lbs/inch front (+11) and 375 lbs/inch rear (-44)
Stock spring rate: 347 lbs/inch front and 419 lbs/inch rear

Tein High.Tech springs utilize the latest spring and material technology to optimize comfort, performance, and quality. The line is produced with Vanadium (SAE9254V), which is strong, lightweight, and has properties to retain more spring stroke. High.Tech springs are designed for those seeking a slightly lowered stance while maintaining high ride quality at a reasonable price. Spring length is guaranteed not to sag more than 5mm and to be clear of any manufacture defects.

Zinc Phosphate Coating with Gold Powder Paint
Rubber Spring Protector Prevents Noise

Thanks for the review, your the only person to date I've ever seen running the H-tech's on the Z. I've been hoping someone would try them.

Btw, I've revised the oem spring rate date, I guess not everyone saw the post I did on that revision. New rate date is
314/342.

Actually, Hotchkis measured the spring rates and came up with:
Front 310 lbs/in
Rear 350 lbs/in

Very close to your numbers . Not sure if yours were measured or calculated.
