Question Rear Tire Alignment???

Went to the dealership today and they told me I have extreme tire feathering. So they ordered me new tires and told me while they are going to have the car up on the lift, it would be very good to get my rear alignment done for $79.00. Has anyone done this? Is this even recommended?

If they ae going to replace your tires and follow the TSB they will also do a complete alignment which means front and back. Shouldn't have to pay for it.

The new TSB NTB04-043 DATED 4-12-2004, page 18 only covers front alignment.

That's the impression I had also. Do you guys think its worth it for me to pay extra to get the rear tires aligned? What effects will it have on the life of the rear tires? Performance? Etc.?

I had my feathered front tires first replaced at 6,700 miles. My work order said they aligned all four tires.

Then a month ago at 12,600 miles my feathered front tires were replaced again and the new TSB with the "New & Improved" alignment specs were peformed. I received a copy of the alignment specs too. It listed the before and after rear specs.

We have four wheel independed suspension, so doesn't that mean all four wheels should be inspected?
