Default In what order? Wheels, springs, rolling fenders?

Errr... in what order did everyone who upgraded their wheels do it?

On one hand, hard to know how much one needs to roll the fenders without seeing the wheels and drop (springs).

On the other hand, hard to get the wheels to the shop with them off the car (trunk ain't big enough to lug 'em around).

Hard to know how much drop is needed (which spring) without seeing the wheels mounted which may require the fenders to be rolled.

It's like I need to find a shop that has the rims and tires, can roll the fenders if needed and install the springs, all at the same time. Or I suppose drop off teh set of rims and tires to the shop with one car, go back with the 350z and get the springs put on and roll the fenders.

Bahhhh... how did everyone else do this exactly? This is why I may just end up going with a smaller width wheel and tire.

isnt rolling, rolling? I didnt know there were different levels you could do it.

what rims and tires are you thinking of that you are planning to need to roll, 10.5/295? or an extreme offset?

I'm really not looking for anything extreme, just something that looks good. GT-C MS (concave face for both front and rear) 20x8.5 and 20x9.5 (in the proper offsets) with whatever rubber works best on those sizes would probably do me fine, even though I was originally looking at 20x9.5 +20 and 20x10.5 +22 (what Jeff@Evolution posted below) though some said they would go 255 on the front.

Does anyone have 20" GT-C's 8.5/9.5 (offset?) with rubber (size) on a slightly lowered (lowered so it looks good, not slammed) 350z that doesn't have the fenders rolled/shaved? Need recommendation.

If I got that, then I could just order the rims/tires and put them on. I sent a request to a bunch of vendors and am a bit surprised at the lack of response. Plus I read the below and was a bit confused as to what sizes to ask for in the first place.

I'd like to try the GT-C 20" but I don't need so much rubber or it so wide that it needs the fenders rolled (even if I lower the car a bit, maybe 1"). So I'm looking for "safe sizes" of rim width (front & rear) and tires

The 20x10.5 +22et will work but you must do fender work if your car is lowered. We have already installed a set and had to do fender work..it was lowered on TEIN STECH springs

the following applications are also available

20x8.5 +26
20x9.5 +20

more conservative of a fitment

I looked closer at the fenders (front and rear) and it seemed that if rolling had to be done, it would only be on the back correct? The fronts seemed pre-rolled heh.

Yes...

If you did the 20x8.5 +22 u are fine on the front but...

if you wanted to do the 20x9.5 +22, then most likely you will need to roll the front too

I will say you get your wheels first, most of those extreme offsets wont rub with stock height, and then you decide if you like you wheel gaps or not, if not, how much lower do you like, and before you lower, look at your wheels, see if its stick out of the fenders, if yes, then you will need to roll if you going to lower it. If you dont know, then make sure you locate a shop that can roll or shave your fenders before you lower your car, so this way if rub after you lower it then you can go right to them, b/c once it start rub, its going to leave mark on your tires and looks ugly.

I'm having a hard time finding people that even sell the tires mounted on the rims (and even the rims themselves), a couple leads on fender rolling places, and I haven't even gotten to springs yet. Do it all at once sounds good in theory, but...
