i used 1200 degree engine part spray paint. i was a little nervous abotu spay paint but it worked PERFECT!! i can tell you how happy i am with it
ive never been a fan of painting calipers but i cooked mine at the track and they turned a burnt bronze color. i went to a local store to buy some silver G2 brush on but it had hardened inthe box i took it as a sign not to go that route so i went to my local auto zone
here is a quick shot from my phone cam not the best quality but you get the idea
cost me $4.99as you can see i even painted the backs of the pads no over spray

So you DO NOT have to disassemble the piston and seals etc in order to powdercoat your caliper? Lets get this straight because I have to make this decision tomorrow morning.
I was thinking that the heat from the brakes would easily exceed 400 degrees. Whats the truth?

I just came back from the shop where they are powdercoating mine. www.procoatpc.com. I gotta tell you, they look SWEEEEEET. I chose a color called red baron, and it looks just like NISMO red. I am having them installed next week along with NISMO brake pads, so I will post pics soon.
