I've heard of this, but dont know the specifics or significance in racing. will the effects be noticeable on a road course?

imagine a barstool with all four legs different lengths, and this will approximate your car with an adjustable ride-height suspension that is not properly corner balanced...

You will notice a difference on the street, a road coarse or in full-on competition... when it's properly set up, the car will handle like it's supposed to and be a joy to drive.

Not sure where Duarte, CA is, but you might give Performance Nissan a try...
