Question Tein Flex owners, questions.

I have been trying to fnd some guys that have the electronic controlled system installed.

How is it, in gerenal?

Can you adjust on the fly, while moving?

Does it have soft modes [presets] for highway or street cruising and if so is it a soft ride? [considering being lowered and fairly stiff stock as is]

How does it compare to the stock setup? [ride harshness and bouncy rear-end]

How firm can it go? [for at the track]

Can you adjust each corner separately and then store that so you can go from soft to firm preset or from settings for one track or driver to another? I am rather large and would like to be able to balance the car for my weight using four corner scales and an adjustable suspension system.

How long to go from mode to mode?

I don't have a set on my roadster (yet) but last week I road in a coupe that had them. I will try to answer your questions from what I learned in that demo drive. Yes, you can change the setting while moving and you can save (I think) 3 different preset rides. You can selelct a setting that mimics the stock ride and you can go to a real stiff track set up. You can adjust front and rear independently but not each corner. All of this control is at the touch of a finger and the response is instant.

I hope I didn't give you any bum info but that's what I retained from my short demo ride.

I was sold and have added them to my wish list.

I have the system and Zcool is correct in all his responses. I have my 3 settings at sull soft for everyday driving, semi-hard for autocross and very hard for road racing (or high speed freeway driving). The response is very quick (about 1.5 seconds to go from full soft to full hard) and can be done easily while driving.

The ride on full soft (16) is close to stock, maybe a little firmer.
On the stiffest setting...wear a mouthpiece.

Adjusting the ride height gave my shop fits. Mine was balanced/4 corner-weighted as well. 6-0'/220lbs

Mine is a first generation and it "clunks" in the rear due to a lose bolt issue...Tien has supposedly fixed this with their newer suspensions. I read that they have also changed the spring rate specs from 10 to 12.

My Z is still bouncy on certian segments of freeway...looking into an adjustment fix for this.

If you need to adjust the firmness of your suspension for different driving condidtions, the EDFC will certianly accomplish this.
