wiring Tein EDFC unit to Radio harness?
I am going to be installing my EDFC unit into the empty NAV spot, and wanted to know if it was a bad idea to tap the constant and switched power lines from the radio area?
Should I run all new wires to the fuse box, or will the same radio wires do the trick? Think i'll introduce any extra noise to the radio this way?

I would not suspect noise unless you introduce a poor ground which should not happen as you are using the radio ground unless you make a poor connection. The only thing I would be worried about is whether running both the radio and the tein unit on the same circuit would exceed the capacity of the circuit. I'd be sure that I added up the draw of both before I added the tein unit

I think the current draw will be fine, as I have seen people add their Sattelite Radio, or NAV/Video screen on the same fused circuit. The EDFC unit doens't look like it would draw a ton either... fairly simple unit. I'll double check the numbers before I dive into it though.
Thanks!
Thanks!
