Thumbs up Track Day with 350Z brakes

I just completed my first track day at Tunderhill ,California with my new brake system. I must complement Russel at 350Zbrakes.com for a great brake design.

I ran all day at 94degrees outside air and had no problem with overheating of brakes like I had with the standard brake system on the Touring model.

I could just hammer the brakes comming down from 125MPH on the front straight and see no fade or smoking brakes. I had a great time and can only rave over how much better this system works then what I had to baby through the previous track days.

I am runnning 4 seconds faster than previoud times and 15 MPH faster on the straight aways.

Just changed my tires and checked my pads and very little ware was evendent. Previously I would have used half of the pads in one day because of the seveer temperature with the sandard system.

Thanks again for the system Russel. I can't wait for my next track day October 7.

It is a kit designed for the 350Z by Russel of 350zbrakes.com. It uses Wilwood 6 pot front calipers and 4 pot rears. Rotors are designed by Russell. He is a racer in the Dallas area.

It is just supper.

I just got a similar set (Wilwoods 6 piston front/ 4 piston rear) from Brake Zone out of CA installed on my Z. Going to the track on Tuesday to try them out.

That's awesome news Ray! 4 seconds a lap faster is HUGE! I'm sure some of that time is due to "upgrades" between the steering wheel and drivers seat. ;-)

Glad you are so happy with the setup!
