Default Those with Eibach Pro kit....

I just got the pro kit and was wondering how hard or easy it is to install? Is there anything I should do or know that might give me problems before I start? I've put springs on my 90 300zx before so I'm able to do the work myself. Is there a thread that has the install, because I couldnt find it in search? Thanks for your help, Derek

Hi dmzx. Let me state right away I did NOT install mine, I had it done, for the conveniance of a lift and a certified Nissan mechanic who did it at a good price.

But I was observing the process and it seemed very straight forward.

He did the rear first. Marked all the alignment points to make sure to put it back. Drop the bottom arm, slide springs out, place new, hook it up, check the alignment back to marks.

On the front, just like any coil-over change. Disconect, pull out, compress, replace, put back. Again, he aligned it all back to the original marks.

The only extra thing he did up front was to loosen up the strut bar, and then tighten it up when he finished the work.

So as a spring replacement it seemed exactly by the book. Of course, he having a lift and power tools made it all go much faster.

Love it. Got them installed last year, got rid of the "bunny hop" the car does, and the 1" drop is very cool.

I got the Kinetix camber arms for the rear to get the camber back to spec, very happy with those as well. Been planing to get the upper control arms for the front.

The ride is a little harsher, but corners really well (for a daily go to work driver).

I installed mine. Very easy. Here are some tips:

1. Make VERY sure you put the spring in correctly. The ends of the springs sit in a specific groove in the spring perches both top and bottom. If you don't put them back in correctly, the car will not lower any.

2. When you do the front, I recommend removing the two bolts that hold the upper control arm to the body. This gives you tons of room to swing out the front knuckle and get the front shock out.

3. Also on the front, mark the relationship between the top upper spring seat/shock mount with the shock body itself. You want to put it back in the same orientation.

Total install time was about an hour and a half with me and my buddy taking our time.

If I remember correctly, there is a thread that helped me out. It has step by step instructions with pictures.

It was easy. The rear was a piece of cake.
