megan racing coilovers
Now before everyone jumps down my throat about budget coilovers, I know that Megan racing is considered to be a cheap brand... however, that being said from what I've read they simply sell rebranded coilovers that they don't manufacture (much like many other companies). Plus I've read several threads on Silvia.net and NICO where there has been nothing but positive experiences and reviews concerning Megan Racing Coilovers.
they are currently selling for 899 shipped from Option Imports

What I'm wondering if anyone has any actual experience with these coilovers that can give me feedback for the Z. I don't drive much everyday - mostly I use the car for trips up to NY, HPDE events, and the occasional autoX. I'd like to get coilovers just so I can keep it at (or near) stock ride height. Any feedback would be appreciated.

for those who are concerning about these coilovers, do a search on google, or go to some of the forums like
www.s2ki.com
www.zilvia.net
www.freshalloy.com
these 3 are mainly where s2000 and s13/s14 people go, there are tons of reviews on these coilovers.
nothing else comes close to megan at $900, with 1 year warranty means anything goes bad they will replace it free of charge.

the more I read about these on other forums the more intrigued I get. I'm still on the fence but I'm seriously considering getting a set of these. I'm heading out to the track again in november and have 2 autoX's coming up, so if I choose to get a set I should be able to provide a detailed review including racing impressions. Additionally there are a multitude of modded Z's in my area so I should be able to provide comparisons as to road feel. Ah, what to do... what to do?
