Default Nismo full suspension kit

Yes I searched.

Anyway, I was at the Nissan dealership getting my car serviced today, and I saw that Nismo has a full suspension kit for the 350Z. I was wondering if anyone has installed this in their Z, and if so, pics? I want to see how much it lowers the car. Also, is it worth it? I want my car to handle a little better and I figure if I get the suspension kit and some wider tires, my needs will be met.

Any advice?

you must not have searched hard enough, since there are many members that run or have ran the NISMO set up. you missed the big sticky at the top

https://my350z.com/forum/brakes-and-suspension/112798-suspension-faq-and-reviews-tech-info-tuning-and-reviews.html

that has a link in it to a full review of this set up as well

Sorry, I searched for "nismo suspension", not "coilover review".

as usual on this board for non-paying members such a search is useless...
as you will find anything from nismo brake pads to zeal suspension...

Especially in the sub forum "suspension" to do a search that includes a word "suspension" will probably return you ~80-90% of the total posts in this forum.

Instead of searching for "nismo suspension" better only search for "nismo" and then manually filter out everything related to nismo brake pads...

Or pay to become a premium member with a useful search function.

That looks clean...do you have any problems or issues with that setup? I lowered my old car and the ride was so $hitty and bumpy I said I'd never do it again, so I'm kinda apprehensive about doing it all over again. What are the pros/cons in your opinion?

No cons IMO. It's perfect for a DD that you just want lower with a little more aggresive feel.

I have the Nismo suspension wider wheels and cusco sway bars, the suspension made a noticable difference for the better, but the sway bars made the biggest difference for the better to me.

Reading this post makes me want the Nismo S-Tune suspension even more. I've already ordered it (struts/springs/sways) but the wait time is killing me. It's been a month already . Hopefully it should be any day now.

I've got an '04 (with the old (pre-revision) suspension), and when I put the S-Tune on it was a huge difference for the better. IMO it is less bumpy than before (the "porpoising" that people talk about is gone). The only con is that they are relatively expensive compared to going w/just springs.

Yeah, I ordered the S-Tune kit for the JDM CPV35 Skyline Coupe. I know this kit has about the same spring rates as the kit for the 350Z. I guess the difference for the 2 kits may be the height difference of the springs. I'm guessing the kit should provide the same feel on both cars.

But thanks for the heads up!

I have the springs/shocks/sways and must say its worth paying the Nismo price. Could be a tad lower IMO, but it nearly eliminates body roll and reduces understeer significantly. The rear slides out VERY easily now from the stock suspension, so be careful with the VDC off
