After some clarification: What is the difference between the Trophy and Trophy Sport.
What I can see is that the sport kit has the dust boots on the pistions, and the rear rotor does not have the drum for the hand brake. My concern is that the stoptech pdf mentions the Trophy has "Full float assembly for reduced pedal knockback". What are they implying? That the rotors are the 2 piece Aerorotors where the Trophy Sport isn't?
If that is the case why mention that with the trophy sport "Hats are Natural Anodized w/ etched StopTech logo". This implies that it is a 2 piece rotor.

Would be awesome if someone could articulate the differences.

The Trophy is a full floating rotor that is very noisy. You can jiggle it with your hands. The Trophy Sport has the dust boots as you mentioned, and has a floating rotor that is more rigid, but still "floating". If you grab it with your hands, it will not jiggle around. 99% of the BBK's on the market us a floating rotor design like the one in the Trophy Sport.
That makes sense. Are 2 rotors the same. ie can you modify the trophy sport to be like the trophy in the future.
I currently run the stoptech 2 piece aerorotors which do not have any visable play in the hat. When I was experiencing knock back issues it was mentioned to me that I could reverse the mounting clips on the hat which would induce play in hat to aid with knock back and wondering if the same would apply to the trophy
