Default asking for info before buying a Z350

If you replied to this in the roadster section (was posted in the wrong section earlier), thanks a lot...

I'm considering on buying a Z350 soon..

Some friends recommended me to buy a G35 coupe instead, but I like the Z better for it seems sportier and has a better front and rear ratio..does it handle better than a G35 for those friends who have experience with both cars? I realize you lose seating room with the Z, so I want to find out if the Z may handle more like a sports car?

Also, though has 300HP, the Z350 Ann. Edition has only 260ft-lb torque as opposed to the 274ft-lb torque of the regular '05 Z. But it does have a rear spoiler which the regular Z doesnt right? Do you guys think the Ann. Edition is worth its money over a regular '05 Z? Does it have a faster 0-60 acceleration time? But I think torque is also very important..

I'd appreciate your inputs..

Unless you're a die hard Z enthusiast (which I can tell you're not, its 350z, not z350), you'll be just as happy with an 04. The 04s are going for really cheap now and essentially the same car as the 05. Look around at your local dealers, if they have any 04s left on the lot, they're desperate to get rid of them.

I dont think the anniversary ed is worth the money at all. I'd go with either the 04 or 05 track model.

The engine/drivetrain on all Zzzz models is the same.

Go to the Nissan site to learn of the differences in models.

If you want the best buy for the buck get the Enthusiast model.

The cars drive very different. (Owned both simultaneously.) Driving them back to back is the best way to notice the differences. Z feels much more connected (yes, this includes road noise and many bumps).

If you need room for more than 2 people, get a G35. Otherwise I'd go with the Z.

Stock-to-stock the Z handles slightly firmer than the G35.

And I agree that you'll get the most for you money going with an 04.

Friends are always like that. Mine said the same thing: "Why didn't you get a G35?" Don't listen to them, get what you want. The G35 is not nearly the sports car that the 350Z is.
