Get the track, you'll love the Rays, Brembo's and cloth seats.

I thought the '06 GT also had the 5 spoke lightweight Rays (just like the '06 Track does)?

All other '06 Z's are getting the current 35AE's 5 spoker as the standard rim?

I think if you're considering the Touring model, you might as well also look at a G35C. The Touring is as close as you can get to a G35C without actually buying one IMO.

i am suck on phonics!

haha j/k I would suggest what everyone else has--track for performance, and touring for comfort and luxury.

All 350Z models come with the highly respected VQ35DE, so all that "bla, bla, bla" you heard about the 5Krpm is caca.

If you're looking at new '06s..and money isn't a huge issue, the Grand Touring would be the best value. (Considering everything off MSRP) If a track model is simply an enthusiast with brembos, VDC, and the lightweight wheels at a $5,200 premium; and the touring basically adds several creature comforts to the enthusiast at a $3,100 premium~
Then why not get the GT over the track? You get the touring goodies then for only $1,300 more...a three THOOOOUSAND dollar value all yours for just the low low price of... *you get the point*

You counted VDC twice, but the logic does make some sense. If you have the $$$!

I was looking for a track just due to the brakes/wheels, because those aren't something that I would easily spend the money on upgrading before direct performance oriented items.

I was lucky and found a track with leather that the previous owner added. As far as I can tell, they just ordered the factory leather covers and had them recovered at a local upholstery place.

IMO, it is the perfect combo!

I would love to have the DVD navigation, but I would probably buy one of the aftermarket ones. It would be great to have it in the stock cubby, but I know that is not very likely.

As far as performance, the cars are very close, and the only edge that the track could possibly have is the lighter wheels (and lighter seats vs the heated/electric ones).
