No. Go to the DMV and get another title.

 

I traded my 00si without the title. My car was paid off last year and the dealership pulled my credit history to see if my car was paid for. On the report, Honda Financial was still on as lien so I had to call them up so that they could fax a proof that the car was paid up. As long as you have the registration and a proof that you paid, the dealership will take care of the rest. They have all the DMV forms so don't worry about it. If you want the title, you got to wait 3weeks to get yours. Good luck~
