The 2003 has the most quality problems but they are minor and probably corrected by the time you pick yours up. 2004 is practically identical. 2004.5 has even fewer quality problems. For instance, mine has never tire-feathered and my tranny has been great, and my Bose stereo system does not suck, but I have a clicking axle and a rattle in the passenger door (minor annoyances that don't affect driveability). Basically, get the latest model you can find.

i bought my 03' touring Z with 46k miles and the only problem so far is my bose skips a lot no matter what CD. The one thing that is annoying is that i'm trying to figure out what TSB's have been done, and what hasn't, oh well i paid the $$$ and got nissan's 100k bumper to bumper with it when i bought it

I'm selling mine and it is definitely worth a look if you're in the market to buy. It's an '03 with 15K miles, $10K in quality upgrades all professionally installed AND warrantied.

Hi David,

I bought the Z from my cousin who sold it to me with 8,000 miles on it. He sold it becasue he bought a Carrera. The car has only 15,100 miles on it and it's an 03'. The car is in PERFECT condition, inside and out. It is a fully loaded Z, touring model. No dents, scratches, never rubbed against a curb, nothing. It has ALWAYS been gargaged and all of the mods that I've done are ALL bolt-ons and are under warranty. All of the mods were professionally installed by Performance Nissan, which has one of the best reputations out there. I welcome you or anyone to have a look. It is a super clean Z.

I think davidv misinterpreted your previous post (as did I). When you said that you bought it off of your cousin, it appeared that you just bought it. Then, I re-read you previous post about selling you car. Good luck with the sale!
