you will def need a friend with a suv, i got my self a set of summer rims and tires and and set of winter rims and tires, this way you dont have to change rubber, just do a quick swap. you can even do it home with a jack, if you cant get someone to take you to a shop.

 

Are you able get the USDM Nismo front lip installed on the 2006?

 

The current Nismo lip will not fit the 2006. Nismo is working on getting a new one to the market.

 

Does that mean other aftermarket front lip will not fit the 2006 front bumper as well? Exactly what was changed on the 2006 bumper besides the grill? I don't see any other difference from the outside.

 

Nope. I talked to 4 people at the dealership and they said it will fit. Now, after part came and got painted, they are saying it doesn't fit. Hoping it still looks good w/o it. Now, I gotta ebay front chin.


At 1st, they thought kit came in colors you want. Wrong, took a week to paint the kit. Now, when they took off the aero kit spoiler, the holes does not match with Nismo wing. So, car has to be sent to body shop to patch / paint the holes. Supposely, going to take until Friday again. Making it 2 weeks since car arrive to the dealership. This car is already giving me headaches. Wondering, if I am dealing with a bunch of idiots.

 

Sounds to me like they are idiots. Say the front lip will fit, part came and got painted, now it does not fit.

I don't understand why you need to sell the front lip one ebay, you should not even have to pay for it because it does not fit.

I am hoping Nismo will have a new front lip design out for the 2006 by the end of this year.
