Default Buying 06 Enthusiast

I was priced for an 06 at 28,700 before ttl. I live in chicago and am trying to see what the lowest i can get this car for. I was thinking of making an offer for 28,000 and nothing more. Any thoughts? Thanks

Sounds like a decent price. I ordered an '06 Enthusiast with the extras (kick plates, aero package, storage package, splash guards) w/ ttl for 30k. Just waiting for it to arrive from Japan.

Just pay the $215 difference...thats not a bad price at all and it beats haggling and feeling like shi# at the end over 200 bucks

If MSRP is $31,650, $28,700 is a great price. I would guess invoice to be around $29,200. $500 below invoice for an '06 is pretty good.

Guys,

A lot of people will state a price that is not your normal price. Somebody will say they bought the car for free (haha).

Thats cheaper than i got the price quote (msrp is 28264 in Socal zip code), it'll end up about $30672 otd without any options that you have.
So, where did you purchase from?

I got mine from Performance Nissan in Monrovia. Its on the 210 around pasadena. I dont know the name of the salesman, because I wasnt there when the car was bought, it was a surprise. JUst call and talk to the sales manager, and tell them the price you were quoted and ask if he can beat it. Good Luck

imo dealers put all kinds of options just to raise price so always get below invoice.

hey guys, I'm also planning on buying a brand new 2006 enthuathist, now I'm putting down $14000 downpayment, invoice here in va for an enthuathist is $27749, and msrp is $29500, a lot of people are telling me that with as much as I am putting down, I should be able to go below invoice, is this possible ? I already got an invoice price

I don't think it makes a difference how much you're putting down. The dealer makes the money either way, so paying cash or financing is the same. Check this website out (http://www.carbuyingtips.com/), I'm sure it will really help you. MSRP does not matter, find out how much is the invoice price and start your offers under invoice....

Agree. Cash or finance makes little difference. If I am selling cars, what does impress me is that you are buying now not just window shopping.

i got my 05' last spring for 27,900 before tax & license with all options including aero, splash guards, and side airbags. Look to see if you can get that kinda deal. Take out $500-600 a piece for aero or side air bags if you don't want those.
