I just found an 04 Touring DB 6Spd with the Frost (!!) Leather interior for around 24K with about 22K Miles on it.

Sounds like a keeper but what about the fact that it has 3 owners?? Do you think that should keep me from getting it? I will be the fourth owner. Is that bad for resell down the road?

No, I have owned many cars and the two cardinal rules I ask the sellers are why they are selling? and to ask for the maintence records. If the records have been passed on to the next owner it is a great indication that the car has been well cared for. Many things happen in life where keeping the care doesn't make sence ppl loose their jobs or what to buy houses etc.

Take a good look at the car and feel out the seller.

Call your local Nissan dealership and give them the vin # and
ask for the vehicle service history.

 

Three owners in 2 years? I assume this is a repo. There are less risky cars on the market. Pass on this one.

 

I was the 3rd owner of my z at 6k miles. I actually met the 2nd owner and basically the original buyer bought his new toy and then traded it in after a few months. The 2nd owner traded it in for a different color after several k miles. Now I have it and it's a great vehicle.
