Trade in is 19k for this car so asking $28k plus TTL is just insane......

I think $1k over trade in plus TTL is fair....so $22k OTD and stand firm?

 

yea man print everythin out and stand your ground. Thats how I bought my 2004 Enthusiast 6speed with 15k miles for 19.5 OTD.... I did however buy it in the winter. Buying a sports car in the summer = you will get a worse deal

 

Take your time on this one. The owner is out of his mind. In a month or two he will drop the price. That is the time to make an offer.

 

this car is at a dealer......the car was a trade-in so there is no way the stealership gave him more than $20k for the car

Plus the re-conditiong cost must have been min.

 

28K for an 03 with 34K miles?!?!?!

I bought my car 1 year and 4 months ago... An 03 touring with every possible add-on except NAV with 22240 miles for $23,000

 

Being a dealer, You figure they gave him about 16-17k for trade in, asking 28k for that is insane.

I'd go in give them a straight offer of 21,500. If they don't like that figure too much say. 22,000. And if they don't like that, tell him I dont' feel like using any KY, and walk out.
