Today I went to check out this Z http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...g=en&cardist=3 . I went on a test drive and there were a couple things that I need help on. The first couple issues you can see from the pictures.

1)Does the gap between the hood and the bumper look bigger than usual?

2)The rims do not look flush with the fenders, I couldnt check their offset, but is there a reasonable way to fix this? spacers? (And it will need new tires relatively soon)

3) The hood has many rock chips, and the front bumper has a small crack next to the reflector. What would be easiest to fix this? Touch up paint or a complete respray? And whats the estimated cost?

4) It has an aftermarket exhaust (unknown)/intake(nismo)... Which I guess I really dont mind.

We offered $20,500 out the door, but they wouldn't go quite that low. I need some experts takes on this situation!

how much is tax in the states?
cause it says $19,500 as the price

 

The Z you are looking at is a Base. The hood is difficult to tell because of the angle of the sun (and shadow). Your other concerns are best answered after you buy the car.
